I’m Bernadette Spencer, once a full-time, currently a part-time, student of political theory at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Right now I’m working a lot in various areas of food service, playing some quizbowl, writing some questions, and furiously attempting to avoid anything involving the future.
Currently this blog is a place for me to figure out how to properly express my opinions in writing, mostly regarding my studies or academic interests. Despite my eternal hatred of most food blogs, there may be some cooking-related content popping up once I get over myself.
A while back, I lived in New Zealand for almost two years. The header is currently a picture of the dormant volcano, Rangitoto, in the Hauraki Gulf just outside of Devonport, Auckland. I lived next to the Waitemata Harbour, about two blocks away from this view.
